Cognizant spent $2.7million on US lobbying in 2014, while Wipro spent $460,000 and TCS spent $80,000

It has been revealed that Wipro the Indian multinational IT Consulting and System Integration services company have spent approximately $460,000 on lobbying in the US last year. Tata Group the Indian multinational conglomerate company spent about $80,000, filings with the US Lobbying Act Disclosure Database show. However, Cognizant Technology Solutions spent about $2.7 million trying to influence US lawmakers primarily on the country's new immigration rules, significantly higher than its top three Indian IT rivals put together.
